Carpal Tunnel Wrist Stretching Exercise for Hands

Do you suffer from aching hands? Maybe you are one of the the people who has gamers wrist, that cause this problems. Gamers wrist will more likely have this problem because their hands don’t have much exercise. Carpal tunnel wrists should have regular exercise to prevent the carpal tunnel syndrome. So, you can do the following stretching to prevent this. This stretching exercise of your wrists are really quick and you can even do this in the office to prevent having aching hands:

  • While standing up, hold your arms straight out in front of you, palms down, fingers extended. While keeping your arms straight, raise your hands so they’re facing away from you (the classic ’stop’ position). Hold this for five seconds. Repeat three times.
  • Return your hands to the starting position and clench your fists. Hold this for five seconds and while keeping your fist clenched, rotate your fists downwards so the back of your hand faces the wall in front of you. Repeat this three times.
  • Now repeat that whole sequence another two times to help relieve carpal tunnel syndrome.
  • Set an alarm or calendar entry to make sure you do this three times a day.

Exercising those nine muscles in the carpal tunnel wrist as well as the muscles surrounding the wrist can be beneficial. However, it is important that you exercise these muscles when the symptoms of carpal tunnel are the least.
